Nadia LOVED camping! She got to play outside ALL DAY in the sand and dirt! It's a dream day for her.
On an un-related note:
You know those really weird people that pop out of bed like it was a toaster oven? They are ready to go, full of energy and super chatty. That is SO Nadia in the morning.
This morning went like this:
(I open Nadia's door because I hear her chatting in her room. "Mommy, blah blah.Mommy.")
Nadia: Oh! Good morning!
Me: Good morning sweetheart.
Nadia: Good morning! Oh, George come too! (She get's George while bumbling "oh, oh, oh"and I pick them both up) Nadia throw George. (poor little monkey gets tossed back into bed) Hi Mommy! Nadia, no poopoo, stinky! No poopoo! See Daddy, oh! (We leave her room and go to our room) Oh, Daddy! Look, laundry. Mickey Mouse blanket. Hear birdies.....Blah blah blah.
That was all in the first minute of getting up. At least we don't have to worry about her language development.

BItty's Birthday Wishlist
Bitty's (2nd!) birthday is coming up! Can you believe it? Neither can we.
I know it's hard sometimes to know what kids would like (and parents won't hate you for) so Kurt thought we ought to make a list to help people out. No, we are not asking you to buy our child gifts. In fact, if you buy her NOTHING that is a-okay with us! However, since people seem to like to do it anyway we thought we'd put in our thoughts on the matter. We'd love activity type of things, also known as "things she doesn't just spread all over the house that make Becky feel totally neurotic".
Sandbox with lid: She loves to scoop with her shovel and bucket. We also like the idea of a lid so it doesn't become a litter box for all the neighborhood cats. Eeew. That would be yucky.
Play-Doh: She loves her Plah-doh, cookies cutters and her Fun Factory but since the Play-Doh dries out it would be great to have some reserves.
Bubbles: Seriously, who doesn't want bubbles?
Paints: (yes, I know that makes us insane) She loves to paint and always wants "more paint".
Big paper (for paints and coloring): Because taping pieces of computer paper together is getting old.
Stickers: She would love pretty much any stickers to decorate her color pages with. Larger stickers are probably easier for her fingers right now.
Lady and the Tramp: I think this is in the vault right now, so it may not be an option.
Lottery Tickets: So that Daddy doesn't have to go to work and can cater to her every desire. Preferably the winning ones
Tranquilizers: Oops. That's Mommy's list. Kidding, sort of. Oddly, I can't find any one Amazon. Maybe try Ebay. ;)
